Still lives
Coulouris' prolific production was notable. On rainy or otherwise potentially unproductive days, her training in observation and still life pushed her to collect and present favoured and intriguing objects in innumerable different lights and positions. The works, usually in watercolour or acrylic, are marked by bright colours and often large scale. In Greece, half-lit interiors with furniture form a common theme alongside more typical flowers, vases and fruit: a haggis appears in one Scottish composition!
